Office 2007 and Office 2008

Office 2007 and Office 2008 for Mac are now the standard productivity suites for all campus computers.

As of May 11th, all new RMP machines or re-installs of older machines will use Office 2007 or Office 2008 for Mac. General support for Office 2003 and Office 2004 for Mac was discontinued this April by Microsoft.  Last summer, all classroom and lab computers were converted to dual install of Office 2003 and Office 2007. This summer all lab and classroom computers will be re-imaged with Office 2007 or Office 2008 for Mac only.

Please contact the Help Desk at x87777 or via helpdesk@lmu.edu to schedule an upgrade for your current machine. This upgrade can be done remotely and generally takes 10-20 minutes. During this time, you will not be able to use your computer.
