Extra Step Logging into Gmail

The first time you log into your LLS mail on the web after June 22, you will reach the Central Authentication Service (CAS) page and be prompted to enter your LLS credentials. Once logged in, you'll be taken to your email. This will only happen once, and your email experience should otherwise remain the same.

If you need them, here are additional instructions for Setting up LLS Mail on Mobile Device. If you need further assistance, contact the ITS Help Desk at helpdesk@lls.edu or 213-736-1097.

Password Reset Question Change

A new password reset tool will be going into effect on June 22, which will require you to create new security questions the next time you change your password. You do not need to change your password the day the new tool goes into effect, but the next time your password expires but be aware that the next time you DO need to change it, you’ll be required to create new security questions.

How do I set my password reset security questions?

  • Go to http://my.lmu.edu.
  • Click on Reset Your Password.
  • Verify your identity with the last four digits of your SSN and DOB
  • Answer three of the 10 questions presented to you
  • Reset your password

Wireless Network Upgrade

After months of planning and hard work, Loyola Law School's existing wireless network is being replaced with new hardware and authentication services. Because of this, changes will be made to the wireless networks that you will see. The law school guest network will have access simplified, and eduroam access will be added (making connecting wirelessly while traveling to other research and educational institutions around the world). You will also need to join the new wireless network on your devices.

How to connect to the Loyola Law School Wireless Network

  • Select the network named LMU-wireless
  • Enter your LLS credentials
  • Accept any new security certificates, and you will be connected!

If you need more information on how to connect, these tutorials will guide you through.

Starting June 23, Loyola Law School guests will also have a new wireless network to access as well. Instructions for connecting can be found here: LLS Guest Wireless 2016.
