Teaching with Technology Day is an annual event that brings together faculty and leaders across the LMU community. Hosted by the CTE and ITS, TwT fosters connections among the academic community, explores forward-looking technology issues that are affecting Higher Ed now, and showcases our faculty members' innovative classroom practices.

Keynote Panel

Navigating a New World:
What is coming and how it will impact our students

Join us for a moderated panel discussion, led by a faculty member that looks at innovations coming from key technology companies - Google, Microsoft, and Snapchat - that our students interact with. Faculty will learn how each company's upcoming features might impact our students and faculty productivity.

  • Mary Jo (MJ) Madda
Senior Program Manager, Google | Forbes 30 Under 30
  • Ranie Lambe
Director, Education and Academic Medical Centers, Microsoft
  • Stacey Long-Genovese, PhD
Global Head of Education, Learning and Training, Snapchat

Educational representatives from these companies will share what changes they are seeing right now, how AI is changing their products, and how students might be using these tools. Specifically, they will each showcase what technology changes they see impacting the teaching and learning process, and then end with a question and answer period.
