Faculty Innovation Center Retiring May 15, 2019
As we launch the new ITS Service Desk, we will be retiring the Faculty Innovation Center and encouraging faculty to visit the ITS Service Desk for future technology support needs. This change will allow our service technicians to provide extended hours for faculty support and equipment checkout, while freeing up additional hours of consultation time where the Instructional Technologists will be available for personalized consultations to support faculty instruction and technology integration. The Instructional Technology team looks forward to working even more closely with the faculty members in their respective colleges, supporting all things related to teaching, learning, and technology.
A Few Reminders
- Laptop checkout will be available at ITS Service Desk. During Summer 2019, please contact the ITS Service Desk via email email@example.com or 310.338.7777, for any such requests.
- Calls to the FIC phone number will be routed to ITS Service Desk.
- Emails to the FIC mailbox will be routed to the ITS Service Desk and you will receive an email confirmation.
- During the summer, we will be relocating equipment currently housed in FIC. As soon as specific locations are identified, we will communicate to the LMU community.
