Maker Technologies are things like 3D printers, which allow users to create physical objects. These devices intersect with maker culture, a movement that blends DIY culture, technology, and hacker culture, and stresses the creation of new technological devices or the modification of existing ones.
Be aware that 3D printing can take several hours. Complex jobs may need to be completed overnight.
