ITS Classroom Support team has made numerous upgrades and procedural changes to address evolving campus needs heading into the Fall 2021 semester. Below you will find updates on general-purpose classrooms, microphone availability, class recording options, and more.

Microphones In the Classroom

ITS has updated the technology in more than 80 classrooms this summer to improve reliability and improve remote support capabilities. In addition, new microphone and web conferencing options have been added to classrooms across campus.

Office Hours

Classroom Support and Creative Services is the first response team for any issues in the classroom.

  • Monday - Friday: 7:30 am - 10:00 pm
  • Saturday: 7:30 am - 10:00 pm
  • Sunday: 7:30 am - 7:00 pm

Classroom reservations are handled by Conference and Event Services. View campus-wide classroom schedules.

Services We Provide

  • Assist faculty in use of classroom technology
  • Perform preventative maintenance on all classroom equipment
  • Replace bulbs for all permanently installed projectors in labs or classrooms
  • Equip Dean's offices with dry erase markers to distribute to faculty members
  • Swap out classroom computers with temporary units as needed
  • Maintain and update classroom computers and technology
  • Train and support faculty on classroom technology
  • Assist with classroom capture and video conferencing
  • Partner with Event Services to (requests must be made 48 hours in advance)
  • Partner with Facilities Management to:
    • Maintain and repair classroom furniture as needed
    • Maintain classroom environment
    • Address climate control and power needs
