How Do I Use Cisco Jabber?

Find our Cisco Jabber use guide in the LMU ITS Knowledge Base.

Will Jabber Work Just Like My Phone?

Yes. For instance, if your phone is set to roll to another line if you don't answer the call, Jabber will recreate that behavior. If you have specific questions about how Jabber does what it does, and how it will mimic your on-campus phone line, contact the ITS Service Desk at servicedesk@lmu.edu or 310.338.7777.

What Is Cisco Finesse?

Cisco Finesse is a specialized, automated call distribution system. It uses the same phone system as Cisco Jabber, so the two perfectly integrate. If you require Finesse as well as Jabber, please contact the ITS Service Desk at servicedesk@lmu.edu or 310.338.7777.
