This list is for informational purposes only; these tools are not supported or endorsed by LMU or ITS. Availability of these tools are subject to change. There are advantages and disadvantages to using AI technologies and decisions surrounding if and when to use AI technologies will be made by departments and faculty for academic use cases and administrative leadership for staff use cases unless a significant security or privacy risk has been identified.

The generative model tools listed below generate conversational and formal written text using artificial intelligence based on question/prompt entered by users. The art and science of prompt writing heavily influences the accuracy and usability of responses generated by the LLM engine.
